Have you been told that a low histamine diet would really help you to feel better? You want to get well but you are feeling daunted and unsure of where to start. I know how you feel, because that’s how I felt only a few months ago.
Wanting (or needing) to lead a more gentle life involves eating food that helps to heal your body and keep it calm. That can mean different things to different people but for me it is all about a low histamine diet.
If you are starting a low histamine diet, then advice on the internet about what you can and cannot eat can be confusing, contradictory and in some cases incorrect. I found looking at the recommended Swiss model for a low histamine diet was, to be completely honest, overwhelming. How was I ever going to take a seemingly random list of ingredients and turn them into a delicious meal.

All of the recipes here are low histamine (according to the Swiss diet) and vegetarian, as some people find it difficult to source low histamine meat. A great number are gluten free too. Most people should be able to eat these recipes. However, everyone is different, so keep a food diary and take your time working out what your tolerances (or intolerances) are.
